A god-touched mage.
A headstrong rebel.
Magewar to the west.
All Garrick wants is to be left alone. But when he and Darien return to Caledena, they find the mage orders have taken control, and that those same orders want Garrick—dead or alive. The orders have begun their war, and Garrick may be the only mage who can keep them from victory.
Target of the Orders finds Garrick hunted by Elman, an ambitious Lectodinian mage, and by Sunathri, the beautiful leader of the newly formed independent Torean House. But Garrick has bigger problems than these. To survive, he will have to control the dark magic inside him and suffer the twisted politics of the god-like planewalker who is using Garrick for his own purpose. When Garrick discovers the depths of the planewalker’s designs, he realizes there is more at stake than simply controlling the plane.
Can Garrick survive his own magic? Can he survive powers greater than he can conceive?
Is he free to choose?
"Fast-paced, elegant, and brutal. Impossible to put down."

Taking a long time for the plot to mature. It seems like it is just aimlessly moving forward towards nothing really with an occasional visit to a city or a storm to "liven-up" things, but there is not any tension, suspense and the only thing left to the imagination is where the author is going with the plot. I'm finding it hard to continue reading, perhaps it will improve. It definitely needs some action, intrigue and some occasional magic.Product details

Target of the Orders Saga of the GodTouched Mage Book 3 eBook Ron Collins Reviews
Great series.
The series kept me interested. They were very fast reads.
I am hooked on this series-I can't put it down or wait for the next! Well done, sir Collins.
This series is great. I can't wait to read the next one. I just wish that the books were longer . I just love the ups and downs.
I love these books. I have read all of them within a two week period. He doesn't drag things out just to make a longer book!! This was as good as the rest of the books in the series.
Interesting story line though it is hard to understand the graphic destruction in the here Garret. Still reading hoping it gets better.
I really enjoyed this series. I must admit I would have been happier if it had been combined in just one book instead of spread across the 8, but having said that I did feel like a speed reader when I kept zooming through them.
The characters were great, the story line interesting with enough original concepts to keep me interested.
